Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Sami’s Crazy Batty Ben Plot

Crazy Like A Fox?
A relentless Sami (Alison Sweeney) wanted to trigger Will’s memory by employing Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), an idea she got from one of Marlena’s books. Ben claimed Will was a friend, and Sami slapped him for saying that. She held a gun on him and warned him against a false move.

Big Shocker!
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) saw Will (Chandler Massey) and thought it was because he was drunk. When Will touched him to show he was real, tears pretty much fell onscreen and off. But Will admitted he had no idea who Lucas or anyone else was.

As Lucas tried to get him to remember, masked men stalked Will. They grabbed him and knocked Lucas out. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) found Lucas and he babbled about Will. Of course she didn’t believe him so he left her to save Will. He ended up at Marlena’s (Deidre Hall), begging for help.

Horror Show
When Will woke up, Ben told him who he was and held a necktie, asking if he remembered him. During the re-enactment, Will seemed to have a flash to when Ben tried to kill him the last time. It killed Sami to just watch and not stop him but did her plan actually work?

Earlier, Marlena called Sami and tried to get her to promise not to do something half-cocked. Sami lied to get her off her back. Marlena asked John (Drake Hogestyn) if he thinks that worked and both laughed, knowing Sami all too well.

On the Brink
Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) went at it after he told her that she was still fired and he got her job. She lambasted him for questioning every move she made after she got the job and accused him of never truly supporting her. He swore he didn’t try to steal her job – and he still wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

He offered to ditch the job if it’s going to come between them. Hope asked why he can question her decisions and she can’t question his – like his choice to leave town with his ex-wife without telling her? He asked her to admit that she doesn’t want to get married and she did.

Chad (Billy Flynn) threw Andre (Thaao Penghlis) out and Abigail (Marci Miller) asked him to reconsider. Andre asked Abby not to let this come between her and Chad. He’ll land on his feet. He always does.

Stunning Truth
Andre told Kate (Lauren Koslow) how much it hurt him to have Chad turn so cold. Kate told him she believed him. He thanked her and she said he shouldn’t – because she’s the one who’s guilty.
