Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Abigail Reaches A Deal With Stefan!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for January 8 features Abigail going toe-to-toe with her husband’s new half-brother and she comes away with having saved both of their jobs – and a not-so-secret admirer.

Too Close For Comfort
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) welcomed Abigail (Marci Miller) in his room despite not having clothes on. He put pants on at her insistence as she made a case for why he should take her and Chad back. Stefan insisted he was sincere when he said he wanted to work with them but now he questioned their motives for wanting to return.

Abby said if he does good things for the company, then they’ll believe he didn’t sabotage the company. She said it would be an honor to get their jobs back, which did the trick. Abby told Chad (Billy Flynn) they got their jobs back while Stefan broke the same news to an upset Vivian.

Cruise of Deception
Andre (Thaao Penghlis) admitted to Vivian (Louise Sorel) that Abigail was a way to get Chad (Billy Flynn) to trust him. He proclaimed that he would be the power and Stefan a figurehead. She was concerned about Kate and he admitted he is in love with her. But Viv was relieved it didn’t stop him from helping her sabotage DiMera.

Chad met with Kate (Lauren Koslow) and told her his plan with Abby while she admitted that her marriage has changed.

She returned home to hear Andre say to Vivian all hell would break out if ‘Kate found out.’ He quickly covered and his words impressed Kate. She rewarded him with a kiss and an invite to her bedroom.

To Tell or Not To Tell
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) covered for Rafe (Galen Gering), telling Hope (Kristian Alfonso) she overheard him talking to Abe and thought he was going after her job but he said it wasn’t true and she believed him now. After Hope left, Ciara told Rafe she didn’t want her mom hurting like she is.

A Friend In Need
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) was upset about Theo possibly not walking again and Tripp (Lucas Adams) tried to comfort her. Claire freaked out when he touched her. He explained himself and got ticked at her.

She apologized and he headed home where Ciara thanked him for talking her off the ledge earlier. He told her about Theo’s situation.
