Scheming Gwen has turned up pregnant on Days of our Lives and claims that Chad is her baby daddy. But with her track record for master manipulation, who’s really buying it?
Days of our Lives Mother Of A Problem
Remember Chad (Billy Flynn) doesn’t even remember their New Year’s Eve romp. So did it really happen? It could very likely just be another Gwen (Emily O’Brien) hoax, no matter how hard she professes to have turned over a new leaf. Here are three men NOT named Chad who could have knocked up Gwen.
Outcasts Connecting
Bad girl Gwen and bad boy Charlie (Mike Manning) struck up a friendship before he met his demise. They were two of a kind, social outcasts known for their despicable behavior. They understood each other and bonded over their twisted ways.
It’s possible that commonality led to something more between the twosome, like a one-time roll in the hay. With Charlie now dead, Gwen has no worries about him divulging what happened between them. So there’s no one to challenge her ruse regarding Chad.
Getting Her Phil
A rich single man can only go so long without the affection of a woman. What if Gwen and Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) bumped into each other on New Year’s Eve, started flirting, and ended up ringing in 2021 with a bang.
It would have been a pure sex hookup that they’d both want to keep quiet. Philip still had hopes of winning over Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) at the time, while Gwen was in the middle of carrying out her ultimate revenge plot against Abigail (Marci Miller).
One Last Time
If Gwen drugged Chad to get him into her bed, why couldn’t she have done the same thing to her ex, Jake (Brandon Barash)? She was desperately in love with the man and spent her early months in Salem pining for him. Maybe Gwen decided she wanted one more night with Jake, no matter what she had to do to get it.
Like Chad, Jake would have no recollection of the encounter. And, as a bonus, since Chad and Jake are brothers, both men would share familial DNA with her unborn child. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
