Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in con-tract, recurring or day player roles?

Are any well remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of Our Lives fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.

The week of November 26, 2018
On the heels of last week’s three big exits, this week, there are three big returns. Kate Mansi is back as Abigail Deveraux on Thursday, November 29. She takes over for Marci Miller, who exited the role on November 19. Mansi previously played Abigail from 2011 to 2016.

Greg Rikaart resurrects the believed dead Leo Starke on Monday, November 26. He’ll immediately mix things up with Freddie Smith’s Sonny and Chandler Massey’s Will. The character last appeared in July.

Giles Marini resurfaces as sleazy attorney Ted Laurent on Tuesday, November 27. In an unexpected twist, look for the actor to be involved in scenes with Kristian Alfonso (Hope).

DAYS has cast a new younger leading lady. Thia Megia, a former contestant on American Idol, has been tapped to play Haley Chen, a nurse at Salem University Hospital. Word is the character will be a love interest for JJ (Casey Moss). There’s no official first air date for the actress yet.

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
