The week of January 13, 2020

After a few weeks off the canvas, Linsey Godfrey and Greg Vaughan are returning home to Salem as Sarah and Eric. The two characters had been away in Boston with their baby daughter, Mickey, while she was receiving cancer treatment. Their first airdate back is Friday, January 17.

Also, Leann Hunley and Thaao Penghlis, who have been conspicuously missing in action as Anna and Tony since the show’s time jump, will finally be mentioned, as will their absence. Word is the duo will both be returning to the screen later this month.

Days of our Lives History

DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama
