Turning over a new leaf is about to get very complicated for Judi Evans’ Bonnie. Cady Huffman debuts as Calista Lockhart on Friday, August 27, someone from Bonnie’s shady past who suddenly turns up in Salem to reconnect with her.
Huffman is no stranger to the daytime scene. She played Dr. Paige Miller on One Life to Live from 2005 to 2006. Plus, she has a connection to a former Days star. Huffman appeared in Kevin Spirtas’ (ex-Craig Wesley) Amazon Prime Video series After Forever (as Lisa) from 2018 to 2019.
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
