Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.

The week of December 4, 2017
Brandon Beemer and Martha Madison are back as Shawn and Belle, when the couple return from Hong Kong to support daughter Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). They were last seen in September 2016.

After a lengthy absence, Jaime Lyn Bauer is heading back to the Salem fold as Jennifer’s (Melissa Reeves) mother, Dr. Laura Horton. Bauer, who last appeared on the soap back in September 2016, shared the casting news on Facebook. She taped her scenes the week of November 27, which means she won’t turn up on screen until sometime in May of 2018.

Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) henchmen, the two brawny guys who helped her wrangle the deranged Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), were played by Jenson Cheng and Matt Merchant. The two actors were dubbed as Mercenary #1 and Mercenary #2, respectively.
