That was fast. After exiting town with Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) in January, Matthew Ashford will soon be back on the scene as Jack Deveraux. The character is slated to return from Boston this month.
Also on the comeback front, Alison Sweeney is back on the set taping scenes as Sami Brady DiMera. When last seen in January, Sami left for Italy with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) to rebuild their relationship. The character will begin airing again this summer. There’s no word yet as to whether or not she’ll eventually be joined by Dattilo.
Apparently, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) isn’t the only woman in TR Coates’s (William Christian) past. Donielle Artese has nabbed the role of the Salem bad guy’s ex-girlfriend. The actress confirmed the news on her Instagram page. Artese’s previous credits include the HBO series Insecure, Jane the Virgin, and Rizzoli & Isles.
DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
