Days of our Lives C&G News
Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of our Lives (DOOL)? Are any favorite
performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of our Lives fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.
The week of August 24, 2020
Going, going, back. Galen Gering and Camila Banus exit Salem as siblings Rafe and Gabi Hernandez, on Friday, August 28. However, there’s good news. Both actors will be returning to the soap when it resumes taping in September and should begin airing again in the fall. We assume they won’t be killed off.
A Martinez pops back in for a short run as Eduardo Hernandez beginning on Wednesday, August 26. He’ll share scenes with his daytime kids, the aforementioned Gering and Banus. Will he be the one who gets them to leave town?
True O’Brien returns as Paige Larson on Tuesday, August 25, when Kassie DePaiva’s Eve has a vision of her late daughter. Larson made her last appearance on the soap during its 2017 Halloween episode.
Meanwhile, DePaiva departs the soap on Wednesday, August 26, after Eve is arrested for her crimes against Robert Scott Wilson’s Ben. We are sure this is not the last we’ll be seeing of Eve.
Also, Victoria Konefal wraps up her Days of Our Lives run as Ciara on Wednesday, August 26, when the character suddenly disappears. Konefal took over the popular role in 2017. Will Ciara reappear with a new face?
Please note that air dates may be subject to change. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
