Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of Our Lives (DOOL)?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future? Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of Our Lives‘s fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.
The week of May 14, 2018
Out with the new, in with the old. Marci Miller, who joined the cast as Abigail Deveraux DiMera in 2016, has decided not to renew her contract with the soap. Replacing her will be her predecessor, Kate Mansi, who played the character from 2011 to 2016. Miller wraps up filming this month. Mansi begins filming this summer.
Farah Fath, who made her daytime debut as Days’ Mimi Lockhart in 1999, is returning to the soap. The actress is currently on set filming and will start airing later this year.
The character last appeared in 2007. With Mimi back in the fold, expect to see her mom Bonnie (Judi Evans) back onscreen again, too.
Andoni Gracia is back playing Mateo, the drug lord that forced Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) to leave Salem with him. He last aired in 2016.
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
