Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of Our Lives (DOOL)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?
Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of Our Lives fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.
The week of February 4, 2019
Chrishell Hartley, known as Chrishell Stause during her last run on Days, resurfaces as Ben’s sister, Jordan Ridgeway, on Monday, February 4.
She last aired on the soap in March of 2015, when the character left town to take a job offer in England. Hartley’s return is short term.
Victor Turpin plays Luca on Monday, February 4 and Tuesday, February 5.
Amber Nicole Smith turns up as Laura on Tuesday, February 5.
Paul Telfer’s latest run as Xander has come to close. “Xander is off back to his Greek island for a bit of R&R,” shared the actor on Twitter.
Also on the Salem exit front, a few departures have been announced. Nadia Bjorlin and Olivia Rose Keegan have been let go as Chloe and Claire, respectively. Bjorlin debuted on the soap back in 1999, while Keegan made her first appearance in 2015.
The word is there are two more male exits to come, not including Tyler Christopher’s imminent departure as Stefan. However, the show is keeping the news under wraps.
