Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of Our Lives (DOOL)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of Our Lives fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.

The week of May 7, 2018
Camila Banus (Gabi) has inked a new contract with the soap. No official word as to how long the pact is, however in an Instagram post the actress said, “You will for sure have more Gabiness for another year!!!”

Louise Sorel’s run as Vivian Alamain comes to close. Look for the character to meet her demise after an altercation with Lauren Koslow’s Kate. Sorel returned to the soap last December.

Paul Telfer is back as the villainous Xander on Friday, May 11. He last appeared on the show in September 2017.

Andoni Gracia resurfaces as Mateo, the drug lord who forced Theresa (Jen Lilley) to leave Salem, on Friday, May 11.

John Enos returns as Roger on Thursday, May 10. He’ll share scenes with Chandler Massey (Will) and Christopher Sean (Paul). He last aired in November 2017.

David Paul Randall plays an EMT on Thursday, May 10.
