In addition to being nominated for Best Drama Series at the upcoming 48th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, Days of our Lives was well represented in plenty of the acting categories.

While congratulations from fans were all over social media, many castmates and daytime stars also weighed in on the good news for the DAYS actors who received nominations.
Wally Kurth is up for Outstanding Performance By a Lead Actor in a Drama Series for playing Justin Kiriakis, and his Twitter feed was full of well-wishers. Among them offering congratulations were his onscreen wife from General Hospital Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) said “So happy for you!” and Thaao Penghlis (Tony), who said, “Congratulations Wally for your well-deserved lead actor nomination, well done.” Kurth’s reaction was full gratitude when he said, “Really honored to be listed alongside these guys. Congratulations to my fellow nominees.”
In the Outstanding Performance By a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category, Tamara Braun was nominated for her excellent portrayal of Ava Vitali. Stephen Nichols (Steve) was among those reaching out. “Congratulations, Tamara! Your work is always stellar,” he said. “Let’s keep it going for at least another 20. Lots of love, “Patch”” For her part, Braun was thrilled for a former GH co-star who was nominated as well.
“So grateful for the lovely emmy nomination,” wrote Braun on Instagram. “Happy for my wonderful cast and crew at @nbcdays !!! Yay! Congrats to all the nominees in all categories! So excited to be nominated in the same category along side my beautiful, soulful, dear friend [Briana Nicole Henry, Jordan] whom I love so dearly!! Congrats babe! So F-ing thrilled for you!!!”
Victoria Konefal was honored for her work as Ciara Brady Weston in the Outstanding Performance By a Young Actor in a Drama Series category. Quick to offer salutations was her good friend Lindsay Arnold (Allie), who posted an Instagram story with the words “EMMY NOMINATED BABYYYY” on a photo of her friend and also tweeted out, “YEAH THATS RIGHT BESTIE” with lots of smiley faces and heart emojis.
DAYS actors scored three noms in the Outstanding Performance By a Guest Actor in a Drama Series, with Victoria Platt (Dr. Amanda Raynor), Cady McClain (Jennifer Horton Deveraux), and George DelHoyo (Orpheus) fighting for the win.
Jack Deveraux kiss stunt-double Jon Lindstrom (Kevin, GH) obviously has a favorite being that his wife is among the trio. “Well, not to take away from anyone else’s accomplishments, but you know who I’M rooting for in this category… Congrats to my wonderful @CadyMcClain, showing us how it’s done, again and again,” he Tweeted.
Lucas Adams (Tripp Johnson) and former co-star Kristian Alfonso (ex-Hope) wished all the nominees from the show special congratulations in their Tweets as well. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
