Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on Days of Our Lives.

Woman on the Verge…
An inebriated Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was chauffeured to Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) room at the Salem Inn raring for another confrontation but the blunt businesswoman stopped her in her tracks.

Kate insisted that Maggie take responsibility for flinging herself off the sober wagon and to seek absolution from Nicole (Arianne Zucker) — her accusations that Maggie was responsible for Holly’s death is what drove her to drink after all.

Maggie took Kate’s advice and knocked on Nicole’s door only to be greeted by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)! A flustered Kristen put on her Nicole mask and re-greeted Maggie whom she threw out for being drunk and “seeing things.”

Where There’s Smoke…
Proving the old adage that it takes one to know one, reformed psychotic Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) deduced that Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) was the firebug who tried to burn Ciara (Victoria Konefal) alive in that cabin fire all those months ago.

When he broached the subject with his lady love she refused to consider the possibility that her niece could have tried to kill her.

Later, a hypnosis session with Marlena (Deidre Hall) left Ben feeling even more dejected as he still couldn’t recall anything relevant from the day of the arson attack.

Dark Days
The side effects of Rolf’s memory drug continued to adversely affect Will (Chandler Massey) who totally forgot his relationship with Alice and Tom and later blew up at Hope (Kristian Alfonso) for seeing Ted (Gilles Marini).

Alone with Sonny (Freddie Smith), Will suddenly fainted and had to be rushed to the hospital where Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) delivered crushing news: the tumor is continuing to grow at an exponential rate and it now appears to be a question of when — not if — it will lead to Will’s death.

A Mother’s Sacrifice
Tripp (Lucas Adams) found himself between a rock and a hard place when he agreed to help JJ (Casey Moss) and Haley (Thia Megia) recover faked passports that JJ’s buddy Rory had forged.

Rory had hidden them in the park right before Eli (Lamon Archey) brought him in for questioning but when Tripp arrived at the park Mayor Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) had already purloined the little blue books.

Stumbling onto the scene Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) knocked Jack out cold with her laptop carrier bag and threw the passports to Tripp, ensuring that her son and his girlfriend now have a fighting chance.

Upon waking Jack insisted on having Jennifer arrested and hauled downtown for booking on a charge of aiding and abetting.

Misunderstandings
A still sauced Maggie tried to convince Brady (Eric Martsolf) that she saw Kristen in Nicole’s room and after putting her to bed he headed for the Salem Inn.

He arrived just in time to hear Eric (Greg Vaughan) and “Nicole” arguing, with the former holy man trying desperately to get her to forgive him and understand he is just trying to help her.

Their argument turned into a tussle and “Nicole” went crashing to the floor just as Brady kicked in the door.
