Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on Days of Our Lives.
The Tale of Two Susan’s was quickly — and hilariously — wrapped up when Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was able to convince her buck-toothed doppelganger that she was an incognito Mary Moira absconding from the nunnery. Getting her Nicole mask back was a whole other story, however.
Xander (Paul Telfer) made her beg, on bended knee for the mask’s safe return. But a little groveling to her former underling was well worth it because with the mask back in her possession Kristen was now able to roam Salem free and clear without the threat of being seen — or being confused for that horrible Susan Banks person!
It’s All In Your Head
So, it turns out moving into the bedroom of the woman who tried to set you on fire is a bad idea — who knew?! Not only was Haley (Thia Megia) having trouble sleeping in her new accommodation but she started to hallucinate a crazed Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and her ever-trusty lighter.
Tripp (Lucas Addams) gave her an armchair diagnosis of PTSD but Haley refused to see a counselor. And she was adamant that JJ (Casey Moss) can’t know the extent of her irrational fears. So she relied on the sleeping pills that Tripp procured for her under his name.
The Ultimate Con
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) was determined that Jack (Matthew Ashford) would never regain his memories — but she couldn’t be seen to have those feelings. So she and Xander devised a devious scheme to steal the real memory returning serum and replace it with sugar water.
Now that there’s no worry about Jack remembering his family, Eve had no problem injecting Jack with the concoction herself. Being none the wiser, Jack thanked his wife for being so understanding and for helping him on his new journey.
