Deimos is spiraling out of control on Days of Our Lives and wreaking havoc all over Salem.
Over the past month, Deimos tried to murder Andre (Thaao Penghlis), had Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) badly beaten, and kidnapped Chad (Billy Flynn) and Gabi (Camila Banus) which caused his own nephew Sonny to get kidnapped in retaliation.
Suffice it to say, the guy is making enemies at every turn — including within his own family. Is it time for the character to go – as in split town or be permanently annihilated? Soap Hub asked Days of Our Lives fans to vote on Deimos’s fate.
Yes, He’s Terrible
Goodbye and good riddance! That’s the resounding response from 61% of fans. You absolutely loathe Deimos and all his evil doings. The character has no conscience or scruples. He’ll do anything to get what he wants without any thought to whom he’s putting at risk in the process. Being the reason that Sonny (Freddie Smith) was kidnapped was the last straw. You don’t do that to family. As a result, you want him gone — the sooner, the better.

No, He’s Grown on Me
Meanwhile, 28% of you actually like Deimos, insisting the character has grown on you. Yes, he’s ruthless, but that’s what daytime villains are supposed to be. Plus, as the man in charge of the Kiriakis family, he has to take a hard line from time to time. You also are enjoying the Deimos and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) coupling and feel that relationship brings out his softer side and gives you something to root for.
In A Kiriakis Quandary
Although 11% of you agree that Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) is evil to the max, you’re not sure you want the character to go anywhere. Soaps are all about the balancing act between good and evil. With Stefano gone, you think the soap could use a bad guy of his magnitude. However, the fact that Deimos really doesn’t have any redeeming qualities is making it hard for you to want him to stick around.
