Happy Birthday Galen Gering
Galen Gering first arrived in Salem and Days of Our Lives (DOOL) about 10 years ago and today, he celebrates another milestone!
That’s because on February 13, 1971 in Los Angeles, California, Galen Gering (Rafe) was born and turns 47 today. The actor was raised by hippie parents, Michele de Oñate, an artist, and Alan Gering, a sculptor.
His father is from a Russian Jewish family, and his mother is of Basque descent (from Spain). He also has an older sister named Charissa. He was closest to his grandmother, also an artist.
Gering and his wife, Jenna, were married January 3, 2000 at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas and the couple have two sons, Dillon and Jensen.
His first soap role was as Luis on Passions from 1999 to 2008. In addition to DAYS, he appeared on the web soap, Venice the Series from 2009-2016.
