Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Youth is Wasted on the Young

The “Days of Our Lives spoilers” for Friday, May 27 promise an episode chock full of young’uns bombarded by “the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune”, as Shakespeare wrote. Read on to see how they fare!

So far this week, Chase (Jonathan McClendon) received a shock that would leave anyone in a “ferklemt,” state, as they say in Yiddish, leaving them in need of a moment to recover. His father, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove), visited him in jail. But just as he is processing this news, a group of prison baddies roughs. him up–badly. Chase lands in the hospital on Friday.

JJ’s (Casey Moss) high school chum, Rory (Kevin Riggin), causes friction between him and Roman (Josh Taylor). JJ has matured, even procured employment in law enforcement, but Friday his ne’er do well pal could be re-embracing his disreputable ways once again. Sure, JJ would like to help his pal, but sometimes there’s only so much one can do.

JJ and Gabi (Camila Banus) have been sailing along these days, enjoying their young love for all its heady splendor. But the course of true love never runs smooth, and REALLY never in daytime. On Friday, Eduardo (A Martinez) makes his disapproval of his daughter’s relationship known.

However, fathers who were absentee for many, many years often have an uphill battle when it comes to offering advice to their children once they’re back. Eduardo’s children sure have made their less-then-amicable feelings for him known in the past couple months. Tune in Friday to see how the Hernandez patriarch fares in letting Gabi know how he feels about her boyfriend.
