Days of Our Lives Spoilers: From Lots of Gloom to a Little Glee

The “Days of Our Lives spoilers” for Thursday, May 26 reveal a day of promise for some Salem residents. With all the darkness on the show of late, it might be a refreshing change of pace!

Ciara’s (Vivian Jovanni) past will catch up with her, forcing her to address the issues resulting from her rape by the young man she used to consider a friend. Chase (Jonathon McClendon) may be in prison paying the legal price for violating her. Although Ciara confronted him before his arrest, this kind of trauma usually requires the right therapy.

Thursday will see Ciara turning to psychological healer Marlena (Deidre Hall) for the help she truly needs. As is often the case, Ciara finds she can talk and listen to Marlena in ways that don’t come as easily with others, even her mother Hope.

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will look to beau Rafe (Galen Gering) in her own quest to aid her troubled daughter. She sees that Ciara has deep wounds from all that’s happened over the last few months, from Bo’s passing to the violent rape. Let’s Hope Rafe will have the right words for this Salem heroine, giving her the comfort she seeks.

Ciara’s best buddy fares a bit better on Thursday. Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) sees Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) together and notices a difference in their behavior with each other. In her excitement, she asks straight out if they have reconciled. We can’t blame her. After all, she’s hoped for her estranged parents to reunite for so long.
