Chad was overwhelmed to learn that Abigail (Marci Miller) was going to leave town with Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) and went to confront her. He tried to talk her out of it, and then resigned to it, told her she should stay dead this time.

Abigail doesn’t even think when she risks her own life to save Chad’s (Billy Flynn). Now she is paying the price because she is seriously hurt after getting hit by the car. The doctors work to save her life as Chad refuses to budge from her side.
Steve (Stephen Nichols) has been determined to clear Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) name because he knows there’s no way she’s been the one to mess up with those patients. He was focused on Nurse Shelley, but she seemed to be sincere.
That leaves one person as Steve’s suspicions grow that Tripp (Lucas Adams) was the one.
Hattie (Deidre Hall) is gung ho to help Anjelica (Morgan Fairchild) with her master plan to replace Marlena with Hattie and Adrienne (Judi Evans) with Bonnie.
Hattie does her part to make sure she can get things started, which means that Marlena finds herself in deep trouble. Will she be able?
