The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, September 11 features a day of heartache all around, but a little humor too.
The Truth May Never Set Them Free
Will (Chandler Massey) once again visited Paul (Christopher Sean) with every intention of telling him he wants to be with Sonny, but then Paul had some big news for him first. He might be permanently paralyzed as Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) was not very optimistic at all.
When Will heard the news, he promised to be by Paul’s side. However, after rushing to the park to see Sonny (Freddie Smith), he told him he wants to be with him and not Paul.
Will was shocked when Sonny told him Roman (Josh Taylor) gave him the news about Paul. He then dropped the bomb that they couldn’t be together due to Paul’s condition.
Belle’s Big Decision
John (Drake Hogestyn) was also in for a shock at the hospital when Belle (Martha Madison) showed him Marlena’s DNR.

Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) lamented her tale of woe to Kayla, wondering if she should tell Eric (Greg Vaughan) the truth about Nicole (Arianne Zucker).
Jennifer’s Dilemma
Kayla urged her to do this, but with Eric believing his mother could die at any minute, now might not be a good time.
“Papa Bear”
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) was also in for quite a shock when Bonnie (Judi Evans) introduced him to Baby Bonnie (whose last name may end up being Beyonce — or even Bo). Lucas demanded a DNA test, and Bonnie later told the baby she knows Lucas will help them.
