Days of Our Lives Recap: The War Is On For Stefan and Gabi!

The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, January 24 features Stefan and Gabi threatening each other over the future of Gabi Chic!

Chad (Billy Flynn) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) were named co-CEOs of DiMera. After getting a tongue-lashing from Eli (Lamon Archey) at the station, Gabi (Camila Banus) showed up at the mansion wanting to know what the news meant for her company.

When she realized Chad wouldn’t help, she focused on Stefan, who promised to destroy it unless she wants to quit. She promised to stay and make his life hell. He promised to do the same to her and war was declared.

Abby (Kate Mansi) told Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) she’s worried that Chad won’t be able to prove the safe and stable life she wants for her kids. Talk turned to Jack and Abby said they need to work together to bring him back.

Later, Chad came by and told Abby the board’s decision. Knowing she doesn’t want to be around Stefan, he decided he’s going to resign.

Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) wasn’t happy to hear Tripp (Lucas Adams) talk about a cute nurse. She told him she thought if he was going to move on, it would be with her. Despite qualms about Ciara, Claire talked him into making love and they headed for the bedroom.

Haley (Thia Megia) got JJ (Casey Moss) to talk about his biggest mistake and he admitted to bedding Eve and her daughter.

He also mentioned how Paige got him into playing the guitar. She got him playing a song that he also sang and Haley was very impressed — and then she surprised him by singing along with him.

Ted (Gilles Marini) asked Hope (Kristian Alfonso) if she had a problem with him talking to Kate since she seemed bothered.

He got her to agree to dinner at Doug’s Place and learned Rafe left to see Sami. Eli was shocked to find them at dinner and broke the news about Melinda quitting, causing the wheels in Ted’s head to spin.
