Days of our Lives Recap, Thursday, June 13: Xander Played Hero

The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, June 13 features unlikely heroics no one saw coming. Maggie admitted defeat, everyone prepared for Will’s death, and Xander pulled through in a big way.

Confession Sessions
It was a day of unloading for Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). First, she sat down with Victor (John Aniston) and cleared her soul then she went home and came clean to her daughter. Neither took the news well.

Victor (John Aniston) blamed himself, Nicole, and even Kate. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) saw how much her mother was struggling and worried telling her about Will would make things worse.

As it turned out, Sarah may not have to worry about Will dying. Xander (Paul Telfer) made it known he’s the one with the diary and offered up a trade. He’ll turn it over and save Will’s life if he gets back in his bed.

This did not sit well with Sarah. She flew off the handle and sent him away. Xander realized he has two choices; he can sell the journal to the highest bidder or give it to Sarah and earn some serious brownie points.

A Wedding to Remember
Speaking of Will, his grandmothers leaned on each other for support and decided to give him the best wedding they can, especially under the circumstances.

They only have days to plan the big event all while contemplating how to handle his death. The least they can do is give Will the most precious moments while he is still here.

You’re Hired!
Over at the DiMera mansion, “Nicole” put on her game face and impressed the heck out of Stefan (Brandon Barash). At first, he did not want to have her around the office at all, but by the end of the meeting, she was named CEO of Basic Black. Why not bring the division back from the dead, just like Nicole!

Scheming Heroes
Meanwhile, Ted (Gilles Marini) was doing his best to get under Hope’s skin. He wants her to be his and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. Unfortunately, she continued to turn down his advances.

Thankfully, he got an idea for s serious power play when he ran into Rex. The doctor shared his suspicions about Xander changing the results of Holly’s autopsy and Ted went to investigate.

He snuck into the Kiriakis estate and went through Xander’s room. He found what he was looking for at the exact time Xander was handing the diary to Maggie.
