Days of Our Lives Recap (DOOL): Abigail Defends Chad to Andre

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, September 12 features Abigail inserting herself in DiMera business – and possibly being the only one who can unify the squabbling family.

Family Issues
Andre (Thaao Penghlis) arrived as Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Chad (Billy Flynn) were discussing DiMera and he blamed Chad for bringing back the cursed amulet, as well as Kate for her betrayal. They all sniped at each other, and it was obvious they have bigger problems.

Abigail (Marci Miller) defended Chad, calmed Andre, and even got Kate on board to realize they need to work together to fix their mess. Chad appreciated Abby’s cool head and the two kissed, as all seemed right in DiMera world – for a few minutes, at least.

All For Love
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) interrupted Brady about to take a drink, and he complained about the long hours he’s had to work to cover for his family. She said appreciates all he did for her with Holly. But, she wants to do good and go back to work at the Horton Center. He accused her of wanting to work with Eric. Later, Brady eyed booze at the Brady Pub.

Eric (Greg Vaughan) had a talk with Doug (Bill Hayes) about life, work, and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), with Bill advising the younger man not to close his heart to love.

Awkward Situation
Gabi (Camila Banus) found Eli (Lamon Archey) in a towel when she gave him a gift to thank him for saving her life. He offered to show her self-defense moves (nice one, Eli, ahem), and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) caught them in what looked like an awkward moment.

Gabi immediately announced they aren’t a couple (cause who needs Julie on your case??), while Julie apologized for her treatment of Eli over Abe’s arrest. She agreed to let him live his life. After, Eli got a call and learned he’s about to be fired from the FBI.

Reluctant Bride
Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) woke up in bed and apparently they drew the short straw as they proceeded to recap what has been happening in Salem for the last week. After, he pressed her about moving forward with the wedding, and she pushed back. They finally agreed to put a pin in it – for now.
