Days of Our Lives Recap: Chad Dangles Job If Ben Dumps Ciara!

The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, January 9 has Chad in shock that Ciara’s dating Ben… and then he takes action!

JJ (Casey Moss) let Gabi (Camila Banus) have it for hurting him as well as Abby. He told her how upset he was that he took advantage of his trust. She tried to apologize and said she was obsessed. JJ tells her he would have tried to help her. JJ said he knows there’s still good in her but he can’t forgive her.

Chad (Billy Flynn) interviewed Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) for the job and learned he’s dating Ciara. Chad pointed out he’s holding Ciara back and “suggested” he let her go, then they can talk about a job. Later, he called JJ to ask for help getting Abby back.

Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) grew close but Ciara (Victoria Konefal) arrived. Tripp could tell Ciara was upset and she admitted problems with Ben.

Ciara overheard Claire leaving a message for Ben and confronted her. Claire finally fessed up about the plot to break up her and Tripp. Ciara was furious and when Ben arrived, she confronted him.

Leo (Greg Rikaart) overheard Sonny (Freddie Smith) talking to Will (Chandler Massey). As Leo threatened Sonny, he saw Xander (Paul Telfer) and was smitten. Leo hugged a shirtless Xander.

Later, Leo overheard Victor (John Aniston) and Xander arguing about the flash drive and about his becoming CEO. Once Victor was gone, Xander grilled Leo about what he has on Sonny. Xander told him he doesn’t swing that way and Leo suggested he deal with his price.

Sonny saw Will at the Pub and told him all about Leo and Xander. Later, they met in secret and Sonny told him about Leo’s mom upsetting him. They decided to research it and reaffirmed their love. Will later ran into a crying Gabi.
