Another Newman is headed back to Genoa City! Hunter King, who stars on Life in Pieces on CBS, is set to do some moonlighting in daytime once more as Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless.
Soaps.com reported that the Emmy-winning King is back taping at Y&R. The site said that Y&R actress Sasha Calle (Lola) posted on social media a clip of herself, King, Camryn Grimes (Mariah), Zach Tinker (Fenmore), Michael Mealor (Kyle), and Cait Fairbanks (Tessa) as they held scripts and drank coffee.
The post appears to have been taken down. Currently, there’s been no confirmation from Y&R on King’s return, but Soap Hub will keep viewers updated.
The character of Summer exited Genoa City late last year to take a job in Dubai after turning her personal life into one big mess.
Summer had returned to town earlier in the year having blown through her trust fund and having had an affair with a married man.
