Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Bonnie Can’t Turn Down Lucas

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, Aug. 24 has Bonnie crossing a line with Lucas – and getting caught by Anjelica and Hattie.

Fatal Mistake?
Bonnie (Judi Evans) found Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) on her doorstep and had to let him in. During their arguing about why it was over, he found her cheat book. Of course, he assumed that meant she still loved him and he drew her into a kiss. There’s just so much a gal can do, so Bonnie gave in and made love to Lucas!

Even drunk, he realized she wasn’t Adrienne but he also seemed to not really care. Hattie and Anjelica (Morgan Fairchild) turned up (because Bonnie hadn’t been returning Anj’s calls) and were shocked to see Lucas passed out in Bonnie’s bed. While Hattie seemed ready to high-five Bonnie, Anj was ticked off.

Time to Confess?
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) ran into Eric (Greg Vaughan) at work and interrupted his love letter writing. Eric tried to cover and eventually got Nicole to move on. The two stood awfully close to each other for two people who aren’t supposed to be “together,” leaving both compelled to tell each other their secrets.

Unfortunately, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) interrupted so Nicole didn’t spill that she killed Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), and Eric didn’t blab that he’s still in love with her.

Loose Lips
So while Brady (Eric Martsolf) told Nicole she should absolutely not tell Eric her secret, a tiny bit of alcohol (yes, he is still off the wagon) caused Brady to spill it to Victor (John Aniston). Granted, Victor’s not stupid and once he realized Brady hadn’t turned in Eric, it wasn’t hard for him to put two and two together.

New Neighbor
Marlena (Deidre Hall) was totally out of it when John (Drake Hogestyn) found her at the sanitarium. Slowly, she was able to piece together what happened to him and why he was no longer in the cell with her – he had been taken away. Marlena calls out and lo and behold – John was in the next cell and answered her.
