Days of our Lives Recap: A Bombshell Twist – Ted Is Dead!

The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, August 5, 2019, featured an action-packed day in Salem. Gabi got her way, Hope searched for answers, Rex had his say, and Ted made several grave mistakes.

Get Out!
The honeymoon was over before it began for Stefan and Gabi. Mere hours after saying “I Do,” she was kicking him out of the house. Oh yes, she won all the rounds nad her plan finally paid off.

Stefan was blindsided by Gabi’s scheme. He thought they were falling in love. He thought they put the past behind them. Heck, he thought this marriage may even turn into the real thing. Instead, he’ll be sleeping in a hotel tonight.

A Deadly Encounter
Speaking of hotel rooms, Ted went to “Nicole’s” to try to gain an ally. It’s time they take Kristen down, he said. If they let her control their lives it is just going to get worse. If they team up, maybe they can rise up and destroy her.

Of course, Ted was barking up the wrong tree. Kristen’s temper flared and she yanked off the Nicole mask! Boy was Ted shocked. He also realized he was in for the fight of his life. He grabbed the gun off the dresser, Tony grabbed him, and a brawl ensued. Sadly, Ted did fire a shot but it ended his life, not his enemy’s.

No More Lies!
Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) confronted Kate about her and Ted’s secrets. All Hope wanted to do was help but her good intentions were met with a dire warning. Kate told her to back off before people got hurt, or worse. Sadly, the women did not realize…continue reading on the next page —>

No More Lies!
Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) confronted Kate about her and Ted’s secrets. All Hope wanted to do was help but her good intentions were met with a dire warning. Kate told her to back off before people got hurt, or worse. Sadly, the women did not realize how bad things already were.

It’s Over!
Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) tried to process Rex leaving her. She spilled the details to Xander (Paul Telfer) who was delighted by the news. Unfortunately, she also admitted Eric was the man she loved. Sarah ended up leaning heavily on her mom. Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) has been in this position before and knew just what to say. The heart wants what the hearts wants. There is no point in fighting it.

Meanwhile, Rex and Eric had it out. It was brother vs brother in this love triangle showdown. Eric was stunned Sarah told Rex everything and had no defense. He and Sarah fell for each other but they weren’t going to act on it. Well, now they can. Rex is divorcing Sarah and leaving Eric behind too. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
