Days of our Lives Recap: (Attempted) Murder Most Foul

The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, June 5 features a deadly day in Salem. Lani got a reality check, Will faced the final precious hours of his life, and Claire went completely off the rails. It was an explosive end to a short week!

It’s Over!
The sling was off and Rafe (Galen Gearing) was ready to rock and roll on his own. He told Lani (Sal Stowers) to go home and get back to her life but she all but refused to leave.

Well, that didn’t sit well with Eli (Lamon Archey). He gave Lani a choice — him or the baby, and of course, she chose the baby. That was enough for Eli. He dumped Lani on the spot and left.

Call My Mother!
Over at the hospital, Will (Chandler Massey) had a serious heart to heart with his grandma. He is dying and finally decided it is time to have his family by his side. He asked Marlena (Deidre Hall) tell Sami (Alison Sweeney) and bring his mother home.

Sonny (Freddie Smith) and John (Drake Hogestyn) talked about the diary and tried to figure out how to get Eve (Kassie DePaiva) to cough it up. It was their only hope to save Will but they were not holding their breath.

Claire’s Revenge!
Little did they know, Eve had much more important things on her mind — at least to her. She was running out of time to set up Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and her co-conspirator was less than cooperative. Claire had a lot going on, especially with Ben on her tail and Tripp getting ready to run off with Haley!

Claire heard the awful truth from Rory when she saw Tripp’s fake passport and demanded the whole story. She ran to the cabin to see if it was true and found Tipp and Haley in each other’s arms.

Claire went completely off her rocker and set the cabin on fire! If Tripp wants to be with Haley, fine! But, he’s going to die for her love!

Ben Knows All!
Meanwhile, Ben put all the pieces together when he heard Claire’s ringtone but she disappeared before he got a chance to take her down. He began a manhunt to find her so he could clear his name and make sure he could not hurt anyone else.

Unfortunately, Ben made several mistakes during his search, including threatening to strangle Rory. That mess will surely come back to bite him!
