Days of Our Lives Recap: A Wedding Everyone Wished Wasn’t

The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, December 12 features Sonny being thrown a lifeline when a mysterious someone interrupts his horrible wedding to Leo.

Wedding Nightmare
Going against Will’s (Chandler Massey) wishes, Sonny (Freddie Smith) agreed to marry Leo (Greg Rikaart) but then had to break the news to a shocked Adrienne (Judi Evans). She realized Leo’s blackmailing him after Justin arrived and Sonny filled them in.

Justice of No Peace
Abe (James Reynolds) continued to spar with Sheila (Tionne “T Boz” Watkins) when Leo arrived to ask Abe to officiate his wedding today. Abe was too busy but said he could it in a week.

Leo pressed, saying it was to Sonny. Abe remembered who he was and refused. Sheila sided with Leo and agreed to marry them.

Will confided in Marlena (Deidre Hall) that he’s lost Sonny and told her why. She suggested confessing, but Will nixed it. She made him realize he should go to the wedding and fight for Sonny. Meanwhile, at the wedding, Adrienne smacked Leo but the ceremony continued. Then, it came to a halt when someone arrived.

Custody Dreams
Earlier, Justin (Wally Kurth) arrived at Doug’s Place with a letter from Nicole for Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Brady (Eric Martsolf) came by and told her about Sarah trying to get him to lie to Maggie.

He thought maybe Nicole would want him to but Chloe said no — and handed over Nicole’s note that asked Chloe to raise Holly.

When Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) told Eric (Greg Vaughan) she asked Brady to talk with her mother, he was furious — just as Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) entered.

But Sarah talked her into it and Maggie finally agreed that he could be Holly’s guardian. Later, Maggie saw Chloe and got quite the eyeful with Nicole’s letter.
