On Days of Our Lives, Joey is an expectant father, thanks to girlfriend Jade’s surprise pregnancy.
The teen wasn’t planning on having a baby anytime soon, so it’s thrown the course of his future into a bit of a tailspin. Nevertheless, Joey has stepped up and promised to be there for Jade and their child, impressing his parents Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla. As the year comes to a close, Joey has some hard decisions to make about his life moving forward. What do you think Joey’s New Year’s resolution should be?
Stay in School
Obviously, Joey is going to have to get some kind of a job to support his baby mama and child. However, 54% of you believe it’s imperative he still stay in school. Education is paramount — certainly to his mother Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), and Joey needs to realize that if he’s ever going to make anything of himself he needs one. Remaining in high school and eventually going to college is the best thing he can do for his whole, blossoming family.

Be a Good Father
Tops on Joey’s list for the 2017 should be a resolution to be a good father, say 38% of you. With an innocent baby on the way and Jade (Paige Searcy) not exactly prime mother material, Joey’s going to have to give his all to loving, guiding, and rearing this little one. Fortunately, he has a good example to follow in his own mother Kayla, who has always been a model parent. He should turn to her for advice as much as possible.
Stay Single
If this situation with Jade doesn’t work out, 8% of you think Joey (James Lastovic) should walk away from her. He shouldn’t feel tied to Jade and forced to marry her, just because she’s the mother of his child. Joey needs to think about himself and what’s really going to make him happy. If it’s not Jade, he needs to move on.
