The drama’s about to rev up now that Joey’s brother from another mother, Tripp, is headed to town on Days of Our Lives.
Lucas Adams has been cast in the role of Steve and Ava’s son. It turns out the character, who was believed to have died, is actually very much alive.
Once he arrives in Salem, it’s a sure bet Steve and Kayla’s lives will be turned upside down, not to mention their son Joey. Remember Joey is the one who offed Ava by smothering her to death in her hospital bed — a crime he never paid for. It’s only a matter of time before Joey comes face-to-face with his brother. Here’s what fans think will happen, when that moment arrives.
Hate at First Sight
The bulk of fans, some 87%, can already see the writing on the wall with this plot twist. You’re betting that Joey and Tripp will hate each other instantly, and it will only intensify once they learn that they’re actually blood brothers. Tripp will see Joey (James Lastovic) as Steve’s favored son, adding fuel to the fire. Meanwhile, Joey won’t be willing to welcome Tripp into the family, believing any child of Ava’s is pure evil.
Here Comes Trouble
Some 12% of you expect Joey and Tripp to meet and actually hit it off. They’re both adventurous young men around the same age, who will discover they have a lot in common. They’ll become hangout pals and eventually start getting into trouble together, much to Steve and Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) dismay.
Oh Brother!
Jealousy and rivalry are the two words that were mentioned most by the remaining 1% of you, who aren’t quite sure what to expect. You could see Joey and Tripp battling it out for the same girl. You could also see the pair develop a deep jealousy for each another as they both vie to become Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) number one son.
