Joey and Jade are facing their first crisis on Days of Our Lives — now that Jade has miscarried their unborn child.

The teen lovers were on the verge of splitting up when Jade revealed her surprise pregnancy to Joey. The prospect of becoming parents drew the pair together.

In time, they actually grew excited about welcoming their first child, knowing that Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla would support them along the way.

However, now that there’s no baby to bond the young couple, their status remains in question. Can Joey and Jade’s relationship survive? Over 5,500 fans weighed in on the state of their romantic future.

They’re Toast
The bulk of fans, some 79%, believe Joey and Jade are headed for a rapid split. If Jade hadn’t turned up pregnant, they’d already be over and done. Remember, Joey was planning to dump her and even got Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) to try to help Jade realize it was over.

Although the twosome did get caught up in a happily-ever-after, fairytale future, it’s all come to a crushing halt. The pair were never really in love and now that there’s nothing tying them together, they’ll quickly drift apart.

Joey and Jade (Paige Searcy) forever, say 12% of you. While many weren’t originally a fan of Jade and thought that Joey deserved better, you came to like her during her short-lived pregnancy.

She softened and showed her sweeter side; a side that Joey instantly gravitated towards. The bond the two teens developed and the tragedy they’ve endured has made them stronger, and you feel their relationship will be able to survive.

Who Knows?
It’s too soon to predict Joey (James Lastovic) and Jade’s fate, according to 10% of fans. Right now, the young couple are grieving. Their hopes and dreams for the future were shattered with Jade’s miscarriage.

Perhaps they’ll cling together more than ever moving forward or perhaps they’ll simply drift apart. Time will tell…
