Chloe’s opted to leave town with Holly on Days of Our Lives, since no one in Salem supports the court’s decision to award her custody of the baby girl.
She’s tired of being shunned for doing what she believes to be the right thing and has had it with Brady (Eric Martsolf) pleading Nicole’s case ad nauseam. Chloe simply wants to move on and be surrounded by love and family.
So she has decided to head to New York to live with her parents, Craig and Nancy, firmly believing it’s the best thing for her, Holly, and Parker.
Soap Hub questioned Days of Our Lives fans on the situation; specifically, if you feel sorry for Chloe and what she’s going through. Here are your thoughts on the complicated matter.
No Way! Holly Isn’t Hers
The bulk of fans, a major 88% of you, have no sympathy for Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) whatsoever. As far as you’re concerned, she’s handled the situation all wrong, and deserves to be chastised.
She made a promise to Nicole and Daniel to carry their child, so that they could fulfill their parental dreams. Just because Daniel’s out of the picture doesn’t give her the right to renege on the deal.

How she feels about Deimos is irrelevant. Chloe has no right telling Nicole how or with whom she should raise Holly. She’s not the little girl’s mother; Nicole is.
Yes, She’s Trying to Protect Holly
A teensy 9% of you feel really badly for Chloe and how she’s being treated. While Holly may be Nicole’s biological child, Chloe did carry the baby in her womb.
She developed a deep love for Holly and a strong bond with her. As a result, she’s been acting like a mother lion trying to protect her precious cub by keeping her away from the evil Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). It’s hard to admonish her for that.
Just Not Sure
The final 2% of fans have conflicted feelings regarding Chloe. On the one hand, you totally get that she’s looking out for Holly’s best interests.
So everyone turning against her is sad. On the on the hand, you believe that’s ultimately Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) job and not Chloe’s. So perhaps everyone has a right to be upset.
