Adrienne has been battling breast cancer, and Jade miscarried her baby. It’s been doom and gloom 24/7. How do fans feel about all the despair? Are you ready for it end in favor of brighter days? Days of Our Lives fans responded loudly and very heavily in one direction.
Yes, End the Anguish
Down with the doom and gloom, say 95% of DAYS fans. You’re tired of the violence and negativity permeating Salem. You watch daytime drama for love and romance, not violent attacks and criminal warfare. While you realize that soaps can’t solely focus on happy positive times and have to include some negative drama, you’d prefer seeing a better balance between the two.

No, It’s Good Drama
Some 4% of you are actually enjoying Deimos’s reign of terror and were thrilled with the conclusion of Stefano’s “murder” mystery. You don’t see it as doom and gloom, but rather compelling dark stories. It’s what keeps the soap interesting for you. In fact, you’d welcome more of it.
Mix It Up
The final 1% of fans wish Days would mix things up more. You don’t want all the dark stories to disappear. In fact, you’ve found Adrienne’s (Judi Evans) cancer battle quite compelling. However, you would like to see the soap add a bit more love, levity, and lightheartedness into its storylines.
