Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Stefan Handles His Vivian Problem!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, April 19 features Vivian thinking she has more power than she really does over Stefan — and paying the price for this miscalculation.

Going On The Run
Chad (Billy Flynn) received a call from Gabigail (Marci Miller), who claimed she was already at her appointment and told him he didn’t need to come.

He decided to pursue clues about the dark-haired woman, so he and Kate (Lauren Koslow) had a pow-wow about how to help Gabi.

Gabigail didn’t mind that Chad was searching for her — she knew she and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) would be gone when he returned, but Vivian (Louise Sorel) burst in as they made their getaway plans.

Gabigail got in her face, and Vivian slapped her. When Vivian found out that Stefan planned to run away with Gabigail, she warned him it would never work. She took off and when Gabigail wanted to go after her, Stefan told her to go back inside the room but Kate spotted them.

Thinking Fast
When Stefan wouldn’t listen, Vivian threatened to go to the police. What she didn’t count on was him getting the drop on her — or rather throwing her over his shoulder and taking her to the passageway.

Shocking Discovery
Meanwhile, Kate tried to get a hold of Chad but when she couldn’t, she knocked on the door, demanding the woman with the dark hair come out. When Gabigail answered the door, Kate took it all in and was obviously shocked.

A Mother’s Love
Gabi (Camila Banus) was shocked when Eli (Lamon Archey) visited her. She rejected him and his apologies and shared how horrible she felt being betrayed by both him and Abigail.

He gave her a drawing by Ari and it calmed her down. She thanked him for letting her know that Justin thinks he can get her conviction overturned.

For Gabi’s Sake
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) had an issue working close with Rafe (Galen Gering) to help Gabi. He begged her to reconsider, which she did.

Together they realized the security guy wouldn’t know if they bluffed him that Chad was wearing a wire when he got Stefan to confess to setting him up in Hong Kong.

Reconnecting
Lani (Sal Stowers) ran into JJ (Casey Moss) and asked if they could still be friends but he nixed that. She then opened up about her medical situation just as Eli arrived and updated them both on how Gabi is doing.

JJ watched sadly as Eli took over with Lani as they headed to the baby’s doctor appointment. He looked at the ring she returned and was obviously filled with regret.
