The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, March 23 features Lani telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about the father of her baby.
Good For The Soul
Lani (Sal Stowers) confessed on the stand about sleeping with Eli (Lamon Archey), crushing poor JJ (Casey Moss) who stood up and said declared he had questions. Eli tried to help calm him down but JJ punched him, with the judge held JJ in contempt. Justin (Wally Kurth) had no idea about the affair and felt bad about it coming out.
Awkward Situation
Rafe (Galen Gering) removed JJ from the courtroom and Lani soon arrived and agreed he deserved answers. JJ asked for the truth and Lani finally gave it to him. She admitted to JJ that the baby is Eli’s, just as Gabi walked in with Eli.
Good For The Soul
Justin tried to cheer up Rafe, who feared Hope wouldn’t want to remain married to him when she returned from Hong Kong. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Hope told Shawn (Brandon Beemer) she knows what she has to do now about her marriage.
Shocking Development
Earlier, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) spotted Stefan (Tyler Christopher) in Hong Kong with a mysterious woman who looked like Gabi.

Surprise Visitor
Gabigail (Marci Miller) was stunned when Chad (Billy Flynn) arrived. She managed to get herself together so he was none the wiser. She then worried that more people would arrive so she left her hotel room to go find Stefan. As she knocked on his door, Chad was there and saw Gabigail from the back.
