The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, November 16 features Abby trying to be there for Jennifer and JJ in the wake of Theo’s shooting.
Holding On
Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) family continued to keep vigil for him. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) emerged and told them he had to have a bypass but it resulted in him having an ischemic stroke. Abe wanted to know the upshot. Kayla admitted that he’s in a coma and might not come out of it.
Abby (Marci Miller) told Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) not to take what Abe (James Reynolds) said personally. Eric (Greg Vaughan) later found Jennifer and she clung to him for dear life. She then asked him to talk with JJ.
Wracked With Guilt
Valerie (Vanessa Williams) confessed that the complication was her fault. Kayla insisted she was there and it was not Valerie’s fault — that she didn’t do anything wrong. Kayla tried to comfort Valerie but she’s upset she let down the man she loves.
The Unthinkable
A tormented JJ (Casey Moss) second-guessed his actions. When he heard about how bad it is for Theo, he ran off, horrified. Jennifer wanted to run after him but Eric stopped her and told her to give him space to deal.
Covering Her Backside
Kate (Lauren Koslow) blackmailed Tripp (Lucas Adams) for the phone, saying she’d let everyone know what he did to Kayla and how she covered it up. When he made his way back to Claire, she updated him on Theo and broke down. He found out Theo’s code, told Kate, and she erased herself from his phone.
