Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of Our Lives (DOOL)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?

Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of Our Lives fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.

The week of October 30, 2017
Eileen Davidson returns as Susan Banks on Thursday, November 2. The actress last appeared on the soap as Kristen DiMera in 2015, when the character seemingly fell to her “death” out the window and into a river.

A trio of gone but not forgotten stars pop up on Tuesday, October 31. The show’s special Halloween episode features appearances by True O’Brien (ex-Paige), Melissa Archer (ex-Serena) and Robert Scott Wilson (ex-Ben).

Vincent Irizarry reappears as Deimos Kiriakis, this week, in newly created flashback scenes with Kassie De Paiva (Eve).

Daytime vet John Enos turns up as an Elvis lookalike on Monday, October 30, in scenes with Freddie Smith (Sonny), Christopher Sean (Paul), Alison Sweeney (Sami), Drake Hogestyn (John) and Deidre Hall (Marlena). Fans of The Young and the Restless will remember Enos from his 2003 to 2005 stint as Bobby Marsino, Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) old childhood friend.

Will Utay wrapped up his stint as Dr. Wilhelm Rolf, when the character committed suicide. Or so it appeared…
