Try as he may, Chad can’t seem to keep from having awkward moments with Gabi on Days of Our Lives.
It doesn’t help that he can’t seem to keep her off his mind. According to the March 20 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Abby (Marci Miller) once again will happen upon a compromising moment between Chad and Gabi.
Only this time, it’s actually a bit more innocent than it seems. Abby has tried so hard to keep her jealousy at bay; will this incident finally cause her to lose it?
Chad eventually runs into Kate (Lauren Koslow) and confides in her about being torn between the two women. Kate has certainly made it obvious she’s on Team Gabi, but she knows better than to do anything other than listen to her friend.
Meanwhile, there’s a new wrinkle in all of this as Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) finds out about this weakness in Chad and seeks to exploit it, now that Chad has angered him even more by killing his deal regarding the antiquities. Chad knows that Deimos will want revenge, but he probably expected him to come after him only.
Actor Billy Flynn explained to the magazine, “But Deimos is going to get to Chad in other ways and it’s going to affect a lot of people.”
Considering the last time he interacted with him, Deimos kidnapped Chad and Gabi (Camila Banus), the youngest DiMera certainly knows that Deimos doesn’t worry about collateral damage. Perhaps he should have thought of that before poking the sleeping beast. Then again, was Deimos ever really asleep?
