Days of Our Lives Credits Confirm Diana Cooper Is Diane Colville

When news broke that Judith Chapman was returning to Days of Our Lives as a woman named Diana who had a past with John, it wasn’t hard for fans to connect the dots to Diana Colville, the woman who John nearly wed (as Roman Brady) when Marlena was presumed dead.

But sources were saying her name was Diana Cooper. She even introduced herself as such when she showed at the Kiriakis mansion.

Even that was easy to explain — she married and took Leo’s father’s name, considering his real name was Matthew Cooper. But in the end, it was the show itself that let the cat out of the bag.

On the DAYS credits that aired Wednesday, Judith Chapman was listed as playing Diana Colville — so there you go!

Now we await the other piece of the puzzle — seeing if the show decides to go the route of saying that Diana (who was originally played by General Hospital legend, Genie Francis, who plays Laura on that show) left town pregnant with John’s (Drake Hogestyn) baby.

That’s right — it could mean that John has yet another child he didn’t raise who is gay. He already discovered that Paul (Christopher Sean) was his son a few years back. Could ‘Leo’ be his, too?

Whether DAYS decides to go that direction, it will still be interesting to see how the show deals with having Diana back with a happily married John and Marlena (Deidre Hall).

Diana and John were together back when he thought he was Roman Brady. Will there still be a spark between the two? Stay tuned!
