The Week of March 2, 2026

Wes Ramsey has resurrected a Salem character he hadn’t played in 16 years. The actor returned as Owen Kent last Friday, the character who’s holding Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Jeremy (Michael Roark) hostage and who previously abducted Stephanie back in 2009, and appears prominently this week. The stint is short-term.

Ramsey is also known for his portrayal of villain Peter August on General Hospital. He spoke out about dark characters being the most fun to play.

Richard Wharton gets more screen time as Dr. Wilhelm Rolf. The scientist appears on Monday, March 2, in scenes with Ramsey’s Owen. He also airs on Tuesday, March 3, opposite Dan Feuerriegel’s EJ and Emily O’Brien’s Gwen, and on Friday, March 6, with Feuerriegel’s EJ and Jackée Harry’s Paulina. Wharton, who took over the diabolical role of Rolf from Wil Utay, weighed in on the whole experience.

Wally Kurth is back as Justin Kiriakis. Look for his character to console his TV son, Robert Scott Wilson’s Alex, on Tuesday, March 3.

Tina Huang pops in as Melinda Trask. The attorney tries to reach Rachel Boyd’s Sophia on Thursday, March 5.
