A Salem cop is leaving the force. Steve Burton shot his final scenes as Harris Michaels last December, wrapping up his one-year contract with the soap. Burton, who originated the character in 1988, brought Harris back in season two of the Peacock special, Beyond Salem: Chapter 2, in 2022. Due to the show’s accelerated filming schedule, he’ll continue to air through the summer.
After a two-month absence, Stacy Haiduk finally resurfaces as Kristen DiMera. Look for Haiduk to air in scenes opposite Eric Martsolf’s Brady on Tuesday, January 9.
