Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of our Lives? Are any of your favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the not-too-far-off future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring, or day-player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the Days of our Lives fold in surprising new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the Peacock soap.
A beloved Horton is back on the Salem scene this week. Bryan R. Dattilo returns as Lucas Horton on Monday, December 11. Look for the character to turn up at Statesville prison and interact with its newest inmate, Peter Porte’s Dimitri Von Leuschner.
It looks like the next time viewers see Chad’s (Billy Flynn) son, Thomas DiMera, Daytime Emmy nominee Cary Christopher won’t be playing him. Henry Witcher steps into the role later this month. There’s no word whether the recast is permanent or temporary.
Jackie Cox wrapped up his quick visit as Darius Rose Cooper. The character left town after offering Dimitri a way out of going to the slammer, by scurrying off to Canada.
