Film (Mary Poppins) and television (Diagnosis: Murder) legend Dick Van Dyke makes his debut as a new mystery man in Salem on Friday, September 1. Look for the character to cross paths with two of the soap’s premiere leading ladies, Deidre Hall’s Marlena Evans Black and Mary Beth Evans’ Kayla Johnson.
After a long absence, Jen Lilley returns to town as Theresa Donovan on Monday, August 30. Her character will be part of a new story arc that kicks off with the soap’s goodbye to Victor Kiriakis and late actor John Aniston. Lilley last appeared on the soap back in 2018.
Zach Tinker is also back on the scene as Sonny Kiriakis for the show’s farewell to Victor. The actor left the soap last March.
Darren Richardson makes another appearance as Elliot Roth, the attorney representing Von Leuschner Trust. He airs on Wednesday, August 30, in scenes with Peter Porte’s Dimitri Von Leuschner and Greg Rikaart’s Leo Stark.
Finley Rose Slater gets more airtime as the precocious Rachel Black on Wednesday, August 30. She’ll interact with Brandon Barash’s Stefan DiMera.
