It was a banner day for “Days of Our Lives” star Arianne Zucker as Nicole learned that Deimos Kiriakis is alive. The actress had us cheering her on, rooting for Nicole to make him tell the truth and save her from a life behind bars.
You’d think it’s the least he could do since she wasn’t the one who pushed him into the river. As she aptly got him to admit – it was Kate who did that deed. Nicole has certainly done her share of misdeeds and not paid the price. So, it’s rather ironic she could go to jail for one dastardly deed she didn’t do.
Deimos certainly knows something about doing time for a crime you didn’t commit. Add to that the fact that Nicole looks a lot like Helena, the woman he loved and whose murder he paid for. Also, the woman Nicole who bears an uncanny resemblance to Nicole.

But it’s worse than that for Nicole. Despite her first trying to trick Deimos, she developed feelings for him. Real feelings. Deimos called her on that, but she was in no state of mind to give him an inch in that department. After all, he wasn’t offering her much, so why should she? He still planned to marry her nemesis, Kate. Zucker made us feel Nicole’s pain as she reminded Deimos he treated her like a slice on the side.
That’s what made it so surprising when he turned it around and seemed desperate to see if Nicole’s feelings were real. If she admits to them, will he come forward and save her at the cost of his Kate revenge plan? And where does Chloe fit in? Or does she? Definitely some interesting DAYS ahead…
