Now that actor Joe Mascolo has passed away and Stefano is Missing In Action for the foreseeable future, the heirs are scrambling for scraps. Some very, very nice corporate scraps.

Chad is smart and decent. Enough. For a DiMera. If anyone can overcome the family’s evil legacy, it’s this young DiMera.

Who thinks Andre (Thaao Penghlis) is just going to roll over without a fight?

Especially when 7% of the audience believes he’s the more appropriate heir to the throne. He’s devious and scheming. Those are the qualities you need to lead DiMera in the 21st Century. Because that’s what worked in the 20th.

Bad By Marriage
Sami (Allison Sweeney) may be a DiMera by marriage only, but 5% of fans believe she should be the matriarch — and power broker. Her children, Johnny and Sydney, are also heirs. They’re older than Thomas. And much more genetically prone to wheeling and dealing. (Thomas is merely a Horton.)

Too Late Kate
Sorry, Kate (Lauren Koslow). Barely 1% of fans think you should be the one to win it all. You’re just a pretender to the throne, about as authentic as your marriage to Andre. Yes, you’ve always been kind to Chad, and you earned some brownie points for that. But this is family business. Stay out of it.
