Will Nicole and Eric Brady find their way to each other? Should they?
You know what they say about the Days of our Lives that fall on New Year’s Eve. Whoever you’re kissing when the clock strikes midnight is who you’ll be with…at least until the end of January 1. It’s a very important moment. Which Salem couple absolutely must follow that tradition as 2023 turns into 2024? (Though, since DAYS is a year ahead, are they in New Year’s 2024-2025? Time jumps are so complicated!)
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) returned to Salem because Everett (Blake Berris) had ghosted her. Now she knows he didn’t. And she and Chad (Billy Flynn) broke up (relive her running into many of her exes here). So Stephanie and Everett should kiss, reconnect…and go away.
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) thinks she wants Johnny (Carson Boatman) to kiss her on New Year’s Eve. But that would be icky. He’s too old. Tate (Jamie Martin Mann), however, is the right age. He should kiss Holly and see if he can make her forget her stepbrother. Which would be less icky.
Ava (Tamara Braun) and Harris (Steve Burton) met in the mental hospital — which means they are perfectly well-matched. They know the worst about each other, and they like each other anyway. Well, not everything. There’s Ava’s little drug-running secret. She can’t let Harris find out about that. She better kiss him, quick, to distract him.
Nicole (Arianna Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) share a child. Except none of them know it. Nicole thinks the baby she lost was EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel). And Eric doesn’t know that the baby he and Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) adopted is really Nicole’s missing tot — whom he fathered. Yet fate keeps bringing them together. Surely, it will lead them to their little boy sooner or later. And, before it does, it will lead his mommy and daddy to each other. And seal it with a kiss.
