The Devil is sticking around Salem and while it’s driving some Days of our Lives fans nuts, we kinda love it. We especially love Satan taking over Johnny DiMera and making the young man all that much more interesting. In fact, it’s pretty much perfect.

Days of our Lives: The Devil HELPED Me Do It

The tragedy in the Devil taking over Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) or Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) is those two are inherently good. They are lovers, not fighters, and really not schemers either. The Devil can’t do too much damage while he’s trying to be bad while fighting love. But, with Johnny (Carson Boatman), the Devil found himself a host who has evil running through his veins. Johnny isn’t just allowing it, he’s thriving on it!

Johnny comes from a long line of evildoers and Stefano DiMera’s blood runs strong. Just look at the Days of our Lives mastermind’s other children. Heck, even the ones he adopted are a bit of a mess. It runs in the family so who better to carry on that baddie legacy than Johnny?

Johnny is young, ambitious, rich, entitled, and knows how to play games – with or without the Devil inside him. So, add Satan to the mix and it’s just about the perfect pairing! Just look at the chaos he has caused already. He put his dad in jail, broke Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) heart, is playing Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus), and so much more! We can only imagine what’s coming next.

Days of our Lives: Chaos and Catastrophe

The big question is, how long will this go on and how low will JoDevil go? Will there be murder? Maybe. Will there be mayhem? Almost assuredly. We just hope this delicious story doesn’t go away before Johnny really gets his sinister groove on. Bring on the damage and drama!
