When it comes to Days of our Lives, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of the Days of our Lives week that was.
Oh this “Bo (Peter Reckell) Eschewing His Brady Roots And Embracing His Inner Kiriakis” storyline sure does rankle — not the least of which because it smacks of Ron Carlivati’s own “Stevano” plot and the “RoboJohn” arch of yesteryear.
Is it really too much to ask to just get Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Bo reunited and remarried and off my screen? We all know that these actors aren’t staying for the long haul, so give us what we want — what we really, really want — and then get back to focusing on the plethora of tales that have been treading water forever and a day.
* Is anybody, ANYBODY gonna reach out to and tell Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) sons — and yes, I am counting Tripp (Lucas Adams). Days of our Lives may have forgotten their beautifully developed mother/son bond but I haven’t — that she’s alive?
* Just when I was already bored of the roundabout EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) vs. Stefan (Brandon Barash) and Gabi (Camila Banus) mess, they go and conscript Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). Touché!
* Readers of this column, I’d love to read who you think is the person responsible for the break-in at Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) office, because we’re all smart enough to know that it ain’t Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty).
